    June

Whew, what a month! No, we aren't in Alaska yet. We leave Wisconsin on Saturday. It seems like an eternity ago that our household good got picked up, 100 years ago that we were at my Mom's, and months ago that we said goodbye to Nate. We arrived here in Wisconsin the first week in June and Nate left after Father's Day. His trip was beautiful, but quite long. He drove through South Dakota, Montana, Alberta and British Columbia. He had a couple of slightly shorter days that allowed him to hike in and around Banff National Park. Check out our public gallery of pictures if you'd like to check out some of the pictures he took. He's been staying in our new place (with no furniture) since he arrived. He's started work and managed to have a few flights already. We are hoping to hear some good news about our household goods soon, they haven't arrived in Sitka yet, we DID have 15,000lbs......yikes! Anyway, it seems to have slowly made it's way across country, finally arriving in Alaska early this week, but went to Juneau instead of Sitka. Great. We hope to have our things by the end of next week. What a trip!
The boys and I have enjoyed our time here at the lake, riding bikes, walks, boat rides and of course, swimming! Reed, well, you know Reed, he's lots of fun and full of smiles. He goes swimming everyday and spends lots of time with Ceecee and Pops. Arren is growing up too, getting ready to roll and sit on his own. He is a BIG smiler. It's been great to spend some time with family and friends too. We made a day trip over to the shore of Lake Superior, if you ever manage to make it out this way you have to stop, it's beautiful!
